How to perform Salah

 How to perform Salah

Steps of Salah

(1) Intention

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "The reward of deeds depends upon the intention, and a person will get the reward according to what he has intended ..." [Bukhari, Muslim]

One must be aware in their mind which prayer they are praying. One must clear their mind from anything not related to the prayer and be aware that this could be their last prayer, and so try their best to perfect it.

The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) advised: "When you stand up to pray, perform your prayer as if it were your last. [ Tirmizi ]

If servant says: All praise and thanks be to Allah, the Lord of worlds. Allah says: 'My servant has praised Me.'

When the servant says: The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Allah says: 'My servant has highly praised Me.'

When servant says: The Owner of the Day of Recompense. Allah says, 'My servant has glorified Me'.

When servant says: You (alone) we worship, and You (alone) we ask for help. Allah says, 'This is between Me and My servant, and My servant shall acquire what he asked for.'
